Roberto Mauceri earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pisa in 2017. His early interest for robotics led him to pursue a Master of Science in Robotics Engineering at the same institution.
In March 2022, he joined the Telexistence Group within the Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence research division as a guest student, focusing on his master’s thesis in trajectory planning for bipedal locomotion on uneven terrain. In January 2024, he commenced his PhD studies at The University of Manchester where his research concentrates on humanoid trajectory planning and control for dynamic locomotion.
His research interests encompass optimization, systems dynamics, nonlinear control, and humanoid locomotion.
