Amir Rad is a Robotics and Mechanical Engineer at the Dynamic Legged Systems (DLS) Lab at the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa. His work focuses on the design, simulation, and development of robotic mechanisms for autonomous systems, including quadruped robots.

He holds a Master’s degree in Robotics Engineering from the University of Genova and has experience in mechanism design, CAD modeling, and robotic system development using tools such as Siemens NX, SOLIDWORKS, MATLAB, and ROS. Amir is particularly interested in developing practical robotic solutions that connect advanced research with real-world applications.
